Why isn't this in the TTC forum?

The OP wrote this on the expectant forum assuming that some were TTC before and might have used acupuncture. But those who were TTC and did use acupuncture frequent the TTC forum to go back to help others. So why allow TTC posters to post strictly TTC questions in other forums? |

That thread was started in 2008. I'm pretty sure that if acupuncture didn't help the OP with TTC, she has moved on to Plan B by now. Posters, likely including a number of sock puppets, have been keeping the thread alive with recommendations. So, I've removed the thread altogether.

Curious as to what the motivation is to keep a thread alive with sock puppets, especially one about acupuncture and fertility?
Anyhow it seems to have set a precedent maybe? There are other purely TTC questions popping up on the Expectant forum now that are more recent. |

I suspect the sock puppet posts were purely advertisements. It is pretty common for someone to search for every post that mentions "x" and then post a response -- despite the fact that the most recent post on the thread is a year or more old -- recommending a person who provides "x". |
