This guy is a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan. He is standing with his hands in his pockets and is beaten so badly he was hospitalized with a lacerated spleen. That's the kind of respect those guys at Bagram can expect stateside:

Ah, but freedom of speech and assembly includes their right to criticize the way OWS is using that right. And, of course, it includes your right to criticize them. What a magnificent right it is! |

These "Occupy Bagram" soldiers better pray they don't suffer any catastrophic injuries. The military is doing a great job of not offering full medical care when they return because of budget cuts. I hope they can afford to pay for school too. Their tuition assistance has also been cut significantly, in fact they are now offered less than a quarter of what was previously offered. Thye should be joining the OWS protesters when they return.
Too bad the union busters aren't going after the police unions. Maybe cops should think twice before beating, spraying or shooting peaceful protesters. Let's bust their union and see which side they are on. |
