22:29--you gained 30 lbs in the first tri? Yikes.
For #1, I gained no weight, and ended up gaining 33 lbs total (at 42 weeks). For this one, I gained about 2 lb in the first tri and am up 15 lbs at 29 weeks and hoping for a total gain of 25 or les... |
Gained 3 lbs. |
I gained about 8 pounds at 13 weeks. Now at 21 weeks, I've gained a total of 13 pounds. |
me too, about 8 lbs. |
For my first, I gained 6 or 7 lbs in the first tri, 35 lbs total. It all came off easily in 8 or 9 weeks pp. I was thin to begin with so doctor said not to worry about weight, I would probably gain a lot. I just ate whatever my body seemed to be telling me it wanted. This time I am thin to begin with again and am 15 weeks now and have gained 4 or 5 pounds. I am not sure why less gain so far... |
2 lbs. |
Down 7lbs with another 2 weeks to go. "Morning" sickness (which lasts 24/7 for me) hasn't been fun! |
#1: 12 lb. Ended up gaining 30 total.
#2: 10 lb. Ended up gaining 25 total. With both pregnancies, I was absolutely ravenous and totally nauseated for the first 4 months, ate lots of carbs and pasta and cheese pretty much every couple of hours to continuosly try and settle my stomach. Not so healthy, I know, but so it was. Appetite, nausea and most cravings subsided by month 5, and I gained at a much slower pace after that, for normal total gains each time. |
Lost 7 lbs due to morning sickness in the 1st tri. From there I gained 28 lbs throughout my pregnancy or up 21 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight. I got really chipmunk cheeked - like 5 lbs were in my cheeks. I was back to pre-pregnancy weight (but not even close to pre-pregnancy shape) by the 2 week post partum appointment. |
15 lbs 1st tri, 50 total (and this was with watching my weight 3rd tri b/c of GD). I was freaked out about the weight gain but was thin and kind of gym rat when I got pregnant - Maybe the body needed some padding? Lost 40 lbs within 7 weeks after my son was born w/no dieting. Lost 5 more pounds when I stopped nursing at 6 months. At 9 months, am still toting around that extra 5 but haven't really focused on losing it. |
I did not gain any weight, I actually lost weight. |
1st pregnancy - gained about 5 lbs - total of 22 lbs by 37 weeks
2nd pregnancy - gained about 5 lbs - total gain of 30 by 36 weeks 3rd - lost 12 lbs - total gain of 30 lbs by 38 weeks. Each time has been harder to lose it but I am back to prepregnancy weight and only about 3 lbs from wedding(1) weight at this point and baby #3 is one year old. Don't stress the weight so much if you are feeling hungry, your baby needs fed. I was very sick during each first trimester and on the skinny side pre-pregnancy. My OB's never wanted me to worry about the weight I was gaining during pregnancy. |
I've just started week 9 and I've gained 8 pounds already. Though it is hard to tell what my baseline is since I got pregnant during my 3-week honeymoon, so weight gain may have started due to all the celebrating pre-conception! (oh my) I've been concerned about my weight gain, too, but OB seems OK with it for now. |
I am at week 10 and have lost 21 pounds since September. I am not able to eat anything at this point and started drinking Ensure (yuck!) to get vitamins/ protein in. It sucks! Hope it will change soon. |
I have always gained 12-14 lbs in the first trimester. Of course I keep that up through the whole pregnancy. My average weight gain through 4 pregnancies is 50lbs. |
