A good work out playlist?

I need a good work out playlist for my IPod... I m new to this (exercising) and I need something to motivate me and get me through the boredom/laziness of a treadmill, elliptical, etc. HELP!

Whatever sort of music you like that has a beat of 100 or more beats per minute.

PINK has a lot of songs that are great to work out to. Check out her greatest hits album.

Download the free MotionTraxx or Podrunner podcasts. They're basically club music at 140-180 bpm. Puts me in a trance when I run.

I heard that segment on WTOP yesterday where they interviewed the researcher who had apparently only recently discovered how the number of beats per minute in music--wait for it--can effect.your mood. She said her theory was that it was connected to brainwaves. I was all,"no shit Sherlock" in my head though because the DCs were in the car with me. I wonder how do you get such a job coming up with such earth-shattering theories?

These are all available on iTunes:
Far East Movement - Rocketeer and Like a G6
Ne-Yo - Beautiful Monster
Maroon 5 - Give a Little More and Moves Like Jagger
Ke$ha - Blow and Take It Off
Estelle - American Boy
PitBull - Give Me Everything and Hey Baby
LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem and I'm Sexy and I Know It
Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be and The Time (Dirty Bit)
Rihanna - Only Girl in the World and Disturbia and S&M
David Guetta - Sexy B*tch
Usher - Yeah!

these all get me going when I run.

Thanks pp! Anymore suggestions of song names like pp? I m not really music "versed" and having the actual names of songs to look for would be easier than look for "fast paced" songs... I wouldn't even know where to start. Thanks again!

15:41 PP here - the previous playlist was all dance-y type stuff. if you like more alternative/pop/guitar type stuff, try some of these:
Guster - "Amsterdam"
Neon Trees - "Animal"
Hot Chelle Rae - "Tonight Tonight" (currently my 3-year-old's favorite song)
Green Day - "American Idiot" and "Longview"
Refreshments - "Banditos"
Silversun Pickups - "Panic Switch" and "Lazy Eye"
Weezer - "Beverly Hills" and "If You're Wondering if I Want You to"
Jimmy Eat World - "A Praise Chorus" and "Pain"
Cowboy Mouth - "Jenny Says"
Alien Ant Farm - "Movies"
Pink - "So What"

Download the Pandora app. Put in feeder songs that you like for working out...it does the rest.

I really like running while listening to postal service, two door cinema club, and phoenix.

If this link works, this should link you to mine.

Most of the songs on that list are on my ipod for running (not necessarily in that order)...some are faster, some are slower...which is nice to catch my breath during the slower songs
