If you're interested in food, you should totally go into a Clinical Nutrition program, if you are looking to balance work and family. GREAT hours, fascinating work, LOTS of jobs, and decent pay.

The hours are horrible! My father owned several restaurants. Thankfully, they were up and running for most of my childhood b/c he had good people working for him. But he was working into the night early on.

Cooking is hard work.

Now days there are many opportunity in teaching field. You have to find best job.

I went to law school at 29. I could not have made a better choice. I think having some perspective made me more commited and less freaked out than many of my classmates. I think that (rather than any innate intelligence on my part) is why I did very well. I'm now at a "biglaw" firm and the only lasting effect from having gone back in my late 20s is that people my age are partners whereas people at my level are 8 years younger than me.
