It may be 100 degrees out, but it's cool [and swimmingly fabulous] at Imagination Stage's Aquarium!

Imagination Stage’s Aquarium is back…great for ages 1-5.

July 9 - 31 (Saturdays and Sundays at 10:30 and 11:45)

For July ONLY, the incredibly popular Aquarium has returned -- yay! We went twice in January and February when they last ran this fantastic program and both my five and two year old loved it. Honestly, I did too.

Here's a glimpse: driven by the participation of the audience and interaction with the cast, the show is never the same twice. Whether their first visit or third, young audiences will love Aquarium! With gentle music, beautiful puppets and props, the actors lead children and caregivers to an underwater world, a grassy patch and to a garden where lemons create the sun in a let's pretend sky. Along the way, every child (and some of the grown ups, too) will have a chance to get in the act. Enjoyed by ages 1 to 5 years. These shows truly fill quickly, so get your tickets today if you haven't already. It's really a treat, and if you haven't been to www.imaginationstage.org before, make a half day of it: there's an adorable "open cafe" to get kid friendly, healthy and adult-palate'd breakfasts (including cappucinnos) and lunches. There's also a performance of Wind and the Willows if you wanted to do a 10:30 Aquarium interactive adventure; have a bite; get the wiggles out; and then see the 1pm theatre production.

The 11:45 showing is awesome if you want to not have to rush with your troupe and get a bite afterwards. Parking is even free in the easily accessible and comfortable lot with a sun light elevator just a hop away on the same block.

For Aquarium - which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND and you will love:
Tickets run $10 per person; $5 lap seat for children under 12 months.

The Box Office is also super helpful and friendly: 301-280-1660 or www.imaginationstage.org.
