Why yes, yes I do. What's a "ghat"? And can you tell me what a "notean" is? I was kind of lost on your "valid points" because you don't seem to be thinking them through.

I suggest you read the following: http://www.doctorsopposingcircumcision.org/pdf/GenitalIntegrityStatement.pdf

Let me know what you think. And be sure to really think through your "valid points"... and perhaps proofread before you post.

It seems barbaric in a hospital. we did ours with a mohel because we're Jewish, but non-Jews can use mohels as well. My son was given a quick injection to numb his penis. When the circ was done, it took all of 5 seconds and he didn't cry. Breastfed him afterwards and he was fine. Healed in one week with no problems.

I am anti-circ, but I agree with this. If you feel you MUST, then please do it with a mohel. I agree that it is barbaric to do it to a just born baby in the hospital.
My son is 4 and has never even noticed that he isn't circ.

Who is going to be looking at his penis and comparing it to others? Please tell me so I can slap the heck out of them for being pervs. Do boys really go around waving their privacy for all to see? Gross.

This. Men and boys just don't compare there bodies they way women and girls do. They just don't,and good for them for not.
My son doesn't even seem interested in the fact that his penis looks "different" from his own father's.
It really isn't a big deal.

If you cannot make out the words that I don't care to proofread (not writing a thesis) then go back to school. Awesome!

Cuzimawesome, you're debating with a rock. Obviously, there were some harsh posts because people feel strongly about it, but there were also many nuanced, well presented arguments against circumcising by folks who were careful not to sound judgmental. This poster is describing herself. No valid points, just emotional, frustrated arguments. I think she knows that she has very little in terms of valid points and is just grasping. It is what people do when backed into a corner.

Exactly. The fact that you don't care to proofread doesn't bode well for your so called "valid points".

But thanks for your valiant attempt at an insult. It gave me a chuckle.

Backed into a corner...NO! Talking to ppl who are completely intolerant of others decisions yes... You just keep going and going and going like some of you are the all knowing. There are plenty of anti circ posters who gave great input. I disagree with the posters who are completely intolerant of others and give ludacris arguments to better their case. Thank you.

Yep, we did. No regrets. DS has a great looking penis, just like his daddy.

Out of curiosity... you decided to cut your son so he could have a great looking penis?

Some Q's for you, Faulkner.

1. How do you know that Ludacris is circumcised? I think he'd like your song "keep going and going like you are the all knowing." Kind of catchy.
2. Are you slappy mom from the spanking thread?
3. Just curious, do you even live in the DC area?
4. Are you a nanny?
5. Are you FBFNFTM?
