Holy Cross Elementary in Garrett Park vs Our Lady of Lourdes catholic school?

We're moving to Rockville area in coming month from Chicago. I found Holy Cross Elementary school in Garrett Park. I'm single mom, so I need after-care program.
Could you give me the feedback about this school? I have pre-K kid. My friend recommended Our Lady of Lourdes catholic school in Bethesda. They have also pre-K program. Which school do you like? I'm thinking that mi kid goes to pre-K and kindergarten in the catholic and then goes to public elementary. My colleagues do not recommend. Thank you very much for your advice!!!! |

| Why not just go with a nursery school with daycare for PreK 4's and start public at kindergarten since they are all full day in Montgomery County? You may have trouble enrolling in some area Catholic schools if you are not a parishioner. The more in-demand parochial schools really want to enroll people that indicate they will be there for the long haul. |
