What shoes/hose would you wear with this dress

I'm thinking about buying this dress in slate grey to wear for some holiday parties -- but I always struggle with what style shoes to wear and whether to wear any sort of hose. Any thoughts?

| I'd wear something high and black or dark gray. That way you can wear them again with other outfits. As for hose, sheer black. I think you want to go as plain as possible with a sparkly dress. |

I love that dress! How old are you and how stylish/adventurous are you? If you can pull it off, I would try a chunkier bold shoe. Like what they paired with this dress.

NO HOSE - blurg I hate hosiery (am I "ho" or just stylish? hmm). Tan yourself and wear a cool (closed toe but strappy) high heel, black shoe.

| OP here, I did get the dress before it sold out. The Bluefly online personal shopper recommended wearing black tights and a bright shoe like a fuschia pump. Sadly I'm not 25, so I think the booties are a bit too fashion forward for me, but I loved the metalic grey pump that you guys recommended. THANKS for all the responses. |

I would go with a nude platform no hose or as close to your ideal skin color as you can.

I'd do this, but with a black heel, not strappy. Wearing the black hose and heel combo will make your legs look longer and thinner. Strappy shoes look ridic w/ hose and in the winter. |
