What is your favorite, ultra moisturizing body cream and deoderant.

My old favorite Vaseline Intensive Care isn't working well for me anymore. looking for something that is very moisturizing. Also - my deoderant is failing me - it starts to smell a little sour, for lack of better words. Any good recs?

I really like Aveeno daily moisturizing lotion because it keeps my skin hydrated all day long even during the winter and it's fragrance free. I'm indifferent about my deodorant, so I'm not going to recommend it.

Ditto the Aveeno lotion. In the past I've also used Neutrogena's Norwegian Formula Body Moisturizer which comes in scented and unscented. Both last all day. For antiperspirant: Secret Flawless solid.

Boots No 7 for body lotion.

Moisturizer:

Aveeno Active Naturals (grapefruit scent) is wonderful in the morning... smells great and helps you to wake up

Yes to Carrots C is Smooth is makes your skin feels sooo soft

Curel Itch Defense is great for itchy winter skin

I am using all three (not at the same time!) right now and all are good.

I am completely addicted to Bath and Body Works Spa Body Cream...smells like vanilla and is super thick and moisturizes my skin on the driest winter days.

Despite the lovely vanilla smell on my body, I can only use Dermalogica smoothing cream on my face because it has no fragrance.

Derm recommended Cetaphil lotion.

Cetaphil Ultra Moisturizing. At CVS it is shelved with the face cleansers instead of the lotions. DH even uses it on his face and it doesn't cause breakouts.

I like Secret antiperspirants. They keep changing the names, but I really like the gel version.

i love ultra-moisturizing lotions but can't stand the smell of some of them. even the ones that have a lovely smell, seem to fade after a few hours and i must have a sensitivity to them because i end up with even drier skin later that evening (if applied after a morning shower). with three kids with eczema, i'm careful about what i keep around the house anyway. that said, Eucerin brand of moisturizers is fabulous for really dry skin, eczema, or even normal skin that just needs a boost. it's dermatologist recommended for eczema, which is how i found it 10 years ago. you can get free samples of the stuff everywhere. sign up on their website, ask your pediatrician, etc.
as for deoderant, i used to use Secret. anything by Secret smelled great and worked pretty decent. then i tried one of those Crystal Rock deoderants. bu-bye Secret. i've had my Crystal for over 5 years now. no kidding. still a ton left. so the financial wow was there, but the fact that it didn't have a smell was a plus in my book. i didn't feel like i was just covering up body odor and i didn't feel like i had to coordinate perfumes, body wash, moisturizer, body spray, etc for a good smell. lol.

I like the (sorta) new "perscription strength" deoderants. I've tried both Secret and Dove and liked both. I used to notice sweating in my under arms even on days that weren't really warm that caused wet spots, but I haven't had that since I started using those.

It hasn't helped w/ stains on lighter material under the arms, though. Still get those over time.
