Hi -

My family and I are going to Disney World this coming weekend and we are trying to make reservations for kids activities.
Is the princess tea party worthwhile?
According to Disney website, it costs $225 for 1 adult and 1 child.

Thanks.

We just booked a Cinderella breakfast at the Royal Castle for May 2011 and the price was $131 for 2 adults and 1 child - that includes pictures and a buffet breakfast. You should see if there's still any availability for this b/c $225 for 1 adult and 1 child sounds crazy to me, but everything at Disney is crazy expensive.

I haven't attended (mom of 2 boys here) but I watched it last time I was at the GF. I didn't think it was worth it - unless you have a lot of disposable income. You get a good amount of character interaction since it is a smaller group (vs a whole restaurant) - but it seems very formal to me. If you are looking for princesses, I would do breakfast/lunch at Akershus in Norway in Epcot. All of the princesses and a good amount of interaction - and cheaper! (If you are using the dining plan, you can use it for one of your meals.)

have fun!

I did both the cinderella breakfast and a lunch at the Norway pavilion in Epcot last year. Epcot was the way to go, definitely - like the PP said, better interaction, better food, nicer environment...but of course, I didn't do the tea party, so I don't know if that's "better." My DD was 5, loves princesses, loved seeing them, but kind of clammed up when it came time to talk to them. Actually, the best chat she had was with Ariel in Ariel's Grotto in Magic Kingdom.
