Hi
My son will go to Goddard Rockville and they dont warm the food. Any ideas on how i can keep food warm and fresh because i leave home at 6.30, so it has to stay warm till 12 ( i am scared of the food getting spoilt/bad because i am packing it this early. I will be cooking food the previous night.

Any suggestions will be of help.

I'd stay away from foods that will spoil and can't be kept in a thermos. You can send soup or pasta in a thermos. We are big sandwich and hummus (with vegetable sticks or pita) eaters which I send to school with ice packs in the lunch box.

Pack in a thermos or pack a cold lunch. Those would be your best options. We do sandwiches, cheese, yogurt, veggies etc...

The Thermos Foogo food container is great. Pour boiling/super hot water in it for a few minutes, empty, then put in your heated food. It will stay quite warm for hours.
