Yes of course there are. If anything, expensive designer bags are more likely to date quickly.

What do you mean by timeless? If you mean non-trendy in a style that will look good ten years from now assuming it holds up, then sure. Plenty. You need to look not at brands but at style in a decent material in general for that, not a particular brand (although a lot of the brands listed above are good for this). Bags with simple lines and de minimus hardware in classic shapes. Classic shapes being flaps, camera bags, totes with clean lines, satchels, saddle, maybe a bucket if simple.
If you mean a specific bag that is or is going to become a classic timeless bag that is recognizable, then no -- I doubt you are going to see that at under 1k. |

Op here. Thanks PPs! Bags that at-least I’ve seen referred to as timeless are the Classic Flap by Chanel for example. A bag I own two of is the Celine belt bag. I also own the Polene Numero Un - I sold two large size last year on the resell Real Real website and purchased a recent nano size. Demellier is also a brand I do own in the Vancouver model. I’m not sure that these fit that same classic category as the Chanel Classic flap. |
