How should I make this salmon

Anonymous
We eat salmon once a week and I vacillate between three recipes and I’m bored of all of them- we all are.

1. Baked with mayo/dill
2. Baked with teriyaki seasonings (soy/ginger/garlic etx)
3. Baked with lemon garlic butter

I am lazy so I want to bake it (and I know exactly how long to cook the Costco salmon so it’s perfect). Any other flavoring ideas? Eating it with broccoli and … potatoes/rice? God, the tyranny of the evening meal. Every day, it is!!!

I made a salmon/miso/coconut milk curry recipe from the NYT last night and it was delicious. I also love their sticky miso salmon bowl recipe but takes a little more planning.

Gift links for both:

I like to season mine with zaatar and sumac before I bake it.

This is OP- I had already decided to go the potato route (toasted with garlic powder and smoked paprika and S/P) so I made this salmon- (gift link)

I’d forgotten about the anchovy butter caper route- I’ve made this before. It’s good.

Happy cooking, as Jacques Pepin says. 😊

I bake with a layer of fresh pesto serve over pasta (maybe wait for the summer for this option when fresh basil is easier to get, or just used jarred).

I make salmon pretty often. Right now I’m loving honey mustard or gochujang. So simple and yummy.

I also use Costco salmon and we all love it marinated in pesto, also from Costco. So easy. We usually have either rice, or potato I cook in the microwave and broccoli/carrots

The salmon rub from Trader Joe's is delicious. I use that and put it in the air fryer.

While you are at Costco get the Chef IQ wireless meat thermometer for $80 for 2. It’s a great deal. You bake the thermometer while it’s stuck in the fish and you track the temperature on your phone. No more overcooking or checking the temperature multiple times. I cooked 2 dishes of salmon side by side. One was larger and took 50 minutes to get to 125 internal temp. The other was much faster due to its small size.
