Help! I'm new to the area and am having major tooth pain. Desperately in need of a good dentist in NW DC or CC or Bethesda.

If you haven't already found one, try Dr. Jeff Almo, in Cleveland Park. I found him when I was new to the area after college 20+ years ago and have used him ever since.

4740 Connecticut Ave Washington D.C., DC 20008-5628 - (202) 537-0003 Very good. I've had maybe 10 or so dentists as an adult thanks to lots of moves. He's the best, and I'm fearful. Very warm and kind. |
| Peter Michael at 5100 Connecticut NW. When my husband had a raging toothache while traveling, on a Saturday night, he called, expecting to get voice mail and leave a message asking for the first available appointment on Monday. Instead, Dr. Michael himself picked up the phone, discussed the symptoms, and phoned in a prescription for antibiotics to a pharmacy near where we were. (And then scheduled an appointment for first thing Monday.) |
