What's interesting to me is once again Democrats are eager to tie Epstein to Trump.

Seems everything else they've been doing has struck out, so now they are trying to split Trump from MAGA with Epstein.

Do you believe it's some kind of leap to tie Epstein to Trump? They were demonstrably close friends.

I think if there were a true smoking gun that linked Trump to Epstein level wrongdoings, that info would have very likely been leaked by now. Obviously, the network of of powerful folks who ran in the same circles as Epstein includes many, many people and some of who may be financial backers of our two major parties and that may have something to do with these files not being released. It would be interesting to see what a Congressional vote on this matter would look like if that vote took place tomorrow.

Agreed. The fact that Trump isn’t releasing any info is suspicious bc he campaigned on releasing the info. Since he’s not it’s now made me (a non MAGA) now thinking there is a cover up. So basically Trump has to content with ten MAGA conspiracy theorists plus new people who are baffled by his response.

I don’t give a single, solitary F what Ben Shapiro thinks or wants in this world. He can take his whiny, slimy ass to the promised land that he clearly cares more about than the U.S. and STFU already.

If Ben Shapiro doesn't want them released then that's all the more reason we SHOULD want them released.

.... why didn't the Dems push the release when they had the power to? It's almost as those the parties are collectively told what to do by one entity, so that one party may always be blamed and another one may appear to support your interest in a matter. The system is broken.

And all the messages they are posting on X are roughly the same.

The only one who seems to be standing strong in her release them stance is MTG. I never thought there'd be a day when I'd agree with Large Marge. I mean, you know you done effed up when MTG is no longer in your corner.

She was a true believer, not just there for the grift. Shapiro and Kirk are just carnival barkers who are making money off of marks like MTG.

Epstein died in solitary confinement in a Federal prison. They likely fear for their lives.

I regularly listen to Ben. Love him, but he's heavily biased toward Israel. I am pro Israel, but not in the kind of way where I turn a blind eye to their espionage. Ben's immediate "shut it down" response to this episode makes me think that the theory that it was an Israeli op is probably correct. He was just too eager to tell everyone it was just some guy who diddled teens.

That said, I don't think there is such a list as a "client list". Even serial killers don't make lists of their victims. I think this is a red herring issue because what we really want to know is, who were the clients? Or probably more accurately, who did Epstein set up and extort? We already know he did it to Bill Gates with that Russian bridge player who hangs around Russian spies. Is Bill the only one? I doubt it.

Obviously the "list" is just a starting point of the powerful people who socialized with Epstein. Forensic accounting to dig onto where his money came from, his client lists when working in finance, intense questioning of the people who gave him sweetheart deals because he was "intelligence", public release of documents related to any settlements paid to women who accused Epstein, Trump or his associates.

If she could avoid assassination I'd like to see Ghislaine Maxwell get a lesser sentence if she would name names.

What I'm saying is that they are using semantics to dodge the issue. They are saying there is no list. I believe that. But they could offer a summary of findings from their investigation and name names. I suspect they are worried about being sued by the world's richest people.

How do we plebes get a copy of the GOP talking points. Does someone leak them? Do they arrive in a big red envelope that will self-destruct after reading?
