Encryption doesn't matter if the phone is already compromised by malware. Plus, Signal has already been shown to be vulnerable via its "linked devices" feature that allows the 3rd party to see encrypted chats by pretending to be a linked desktop computer associated with a Signal account. |

It’s one thing to use signal to say “hey can we switch the 11 am meeting to noon?” Or “please check your email — just send you a revised draft”
It’s another to discuss whether or not to bomb a country, make jokes about it, and slam on allies on it. |
