Just FYI, I don't know to which posts you are referring but the most recent post I deleted for "sock puppeting" was not actually a case of sock puppeting. Rather, a poster reported a post for sock puppeting, but I determined the post was not sock puppeted. Then the same post was reported a second time for sock puppeting. That time, I was about half asleep and not fully cognizant of what I was doing and I deleted the post. I immediately realized that I should not have deleted it.

Since that incident, I have been receiving 10 or more reports per day about sock puppeting in this thread. I have been summarily deleting them and not even bothering to check. I really wish the reports would stop.

Also, if all posters in this thread are going to so is accuse each other of sock puppeting and then drive me crazy with reports, I don't really see a reason to keep this thread going. So either get back to discussing the topic of the thread or prepare for it to be locked.

I am talking about an incident over a week ago, and another several months ago, so I don’t think Jeff’s explanation applies. Weird that one of you dragged him into this once again, probably the same person who got the other thread shut down.

I don’t believe so, he clearly said he doesn’t know what posts I’m referencing. And I haven’t made any reports of sock puppeting other than the two that were removed — one about a week ago and the other months ago — so I don’t believe any of his post is applicable to what I was referring to. Nor have I ever reported the same post twice.

As a different Lively supporters than the others above (I posted the docket update), I also tend to think Liman will require Lively to produce the Swift communications - at least those relevant to the remaining claims. I think this motion was designed to ferret out what communications Baldoni had received from Venable, and they are now being shown to say they have received no documents and are even calling the Daily Mail report saying they got what they wanted into question. I don't think Baldoni's attorneys are quite admitting that they didn't receive any information from Venable (as opposed to docs), but it seems clear that they won't be able to come in to Lively's dep showing docs from Venable that Lively hasn't seen. And if they do, these responses here seem to give Lively's attys reason to stop the dep imho.
