Don't be too hard on yourself, OP. Just continue to eat healthy and do as much exercise as your body and doctor allow. And a little ice cream now and then won't hurt either! ![]() I've been so ill lately, but I was finally able to go out for a 40 minute walk this a.m. It felt great! |
OP - Don't worry. I was weighing in at 170 when I got preggo with #2, and my DD was 8 months old. I still had a good 20 pounds to lose (I am 5'8") but couldn't drop the weight while nursing. I just gave birth to my second last week, and was tipping the scales at 205....the doctors never had any concern. I had no GD and no PE. In fact, it was a much easier pregnancy than my first, which I started at 150. The only difference was a bit more pelvic soreness toward the last month.
So, like you, I felt terrible about seeing the 200 mark go by, but the docs weren't concerned and I just tried to be as healthy as I could, while still treating myself. I am determined to get back down to 150 now...but have a long way to go to lose nearly 45 pounds! Don't be hard on yourself! |
Just walk a lot but do not over do it and eat ultra healthy....you will be fine....

There was just an article on babycenter.com that was all about being overweight and pregnant. Basically it said that most of these women stay healthy in pregnancy and have healthy babies. And you're definitely not 35 pounds overweight. |
