How Young is Too Young

| Just curious, I am a 44 year old single mom. I have started dating again and have met some really nice men - some way younger than I am. How young is too young?? I know the "cougar" thing is in - LOL! |

17 - don't want to be a criminal like Mary Kay Latourneau or Warren Jeffs, right? Equal opportunity I suppose so the range expands to a maximum of 20, so only 18-20 year olds, the older, uglier and fatter you get.

| How old is your child? When my son's father started dating a younger woman, my son noted the age difference. He was embarrassed by it. So that is something to consider. |

| I would have to agree with the PP that asked how old your child was... because IMHO that makes a big difference.. just make sure you keep his feelings in mind. |

Some movie or TV was saying to divide your age in half and then add 7. So 29 for you. 
Keep in mind maturity levels. I also agree with the PPs to take your child's age into consideration. |

shut your big whole off!!! OP, as soon as your kid goes to school, you will be the last "thing"in his/her priorities. So...take care of your life and manage your relationship in front of your child. It is not difficult. |

I'm 38 and I have a hard time going below 30. I've never really been attracted to much-younger men anyway (I prefer George Clooney to Zac Efron) but frankly, 20-something boys make me feel maternal, not sexy.
As for you.... I have enough 40-something guy friends who are actively seeking much younger women that I think turnabout is totally fair play. If the younger guys like you, date them! Just be prepared that not all of these relationships end up like Demi Moore/Ashton Kutcher; they're probably more likely to end after everyone's had fun.
