If VDA is a joke⦠what is VRSC? A pile of turd |
VDA is a joint club ECNL team. They shouldn't be as bad as they are. Many VRSC players turned down 'vda pathway teams' in the u9-12 age groups. Soooo.... No? |
Many older age groups at VRSC have no interest in VDA either. Why would they want to go waste their time and money on a bottom level ECNL program? |
VDA is only VDA because they merged with PWSI to get the numbers needed for ECNL. Their coaching staff is ....what it is. They can't seem to break out of their low level playing skills. |
Merging is necessary in our DC area. We have more clubs in our metro area than almost every other major market. Dallas for example has far less than we do, so it would be very dumb to try and field an ECNL team with every club. McClean merged too. VDA has had an outstanding college recruitment year. Every single 2005/2006 went D1, most ACC or Big 10. They have a slew of YNT players who've traveled overseas to compete. You'd do your DD a disservice if you didn't look at them honestly. |
PWSI and VSA form VDA. VDA did not merge with VDA. |
VDA and VRSC recently played scrimmages in 6 age groups. |

Ha - immediately thought the same thing. ![]() |
Tell him what? |
That your kid is gonna end up playing at Christopher Newport on a 1/8th scholarship. |
What? |
New to DMV? |
I have seen some uninformed delusional parents on DCUM, but the one on this page is certainly in the conversation with them, lol.
FYI, FCV was the end of quality GA teams in the area. CC is a good coach but he was not the oil that kept the wheels rolling. A lot more goes into success than just a single good coach. |
