Hello ,
I would like to know from other parents what they are planning for summer camps. What are some of the good activities they are planning to put their kids. I just received email from activemontgomery about summer camp registration. could you please share your experience and Guide me what are the good option for summer camp. My kid is interested in drawing , art , pottery or sports. Thank you |
Look at Visarts summer camps in Rockville if your kid likes art. We’ve done 2 separate camps there and liked it. |
Check out calleva, but it books quickly. |
Definitely not fit a six year old they are not a safe camp for young kids 12 and up if you don’t mind bus drivers that are counselors I have done calleva and many other camps. It’s ok for super independent ms kids not young ones. Even ms has issues like the time another kid broke their arm and all the kids had to sit in the empty room . Or the time I was at darnestown rd Harris teeter counselors left kids on the bus . Walked to six twelve across the street and bought beer. Calleva gets lots of accolades here so just take my words of caution as a thought others have had great experience |
Valley Mill if you want full summer camp. Your kid must like the outdoors
Montgomery county is also great those fill up fast I second Visarts as well. Very nice camp. |
Thank you. How you are planning to keep your kids busy during summer break.
