They already played each other at SAC recently

Ahhh, you're right. Money well played then (3-0). And I'm guessing the "adult body stuck in mental infantile adolescence" peach of a poster is a Laurel parent.

or probably any mature adult who knows these are 12 and 13 year old children

Ha! I was very gently poking fun at the recent posters in other threads who have boasted about these two clubs. The Laurel ones who have said things like . . . "Considering the Laurel Lions 2010's are the current Maryland State Cup Champions and have consistently won EDP1 season after season with one of the best youth coaches in the country, picking them to finish well in any tournament is a safe bet." and the Villareal one that predicted they'd crush SYC.

And you flipped out.

NP here

You are the person who first mentioned the Lions team, then you produced a quote that's not on the thread and attributed it to their team.
Is it safe to say you may have an unhealthy obsession?

If they rejected your child or hurt you in some other way, why not deal with them directly instead of cowering in here throwing childish barbs.

How could you not be excited? I have absolutely no connection to Laurel, or Villareal for that matter, but from what I've read on this board, it should be a match to behold and my "obsession" is completely healthy. Again, I'm guessing you're a Laurel parent. If so, calm down. Both your bragging and sensitivity are over the top. If not, what are you on about? Here's your chance to get it off your chest. What was so wrong that you get this worked up?

is it true Jeff Cup requires tickets this year to U14 matches for spectators?

Why is that tournament still named for that guy? I though they were changing names by now.

Does the nomenclature of "playing up" mean that much to someone?

They will play 9 v 9 instead of 7 v 7

Good to know, makes sense. Thanks!

You're "excited" about a "match to behold" between U14 kids that you have no connection to? As a grown man.
Yet telling others to calm down and not get worked up.

Sounds like you need to direct energies elsewhere in a positive manner.

oh dear. it's not serious. Yes, I'm telling you to calm down. no one is actually excited and no one will actually see the game. it's just funny that you're so emotional. it is an inconsequential match between teams that only the kids and their parents care about. That was the point of the initial post. it's all sarcasm. and yet, you're so [something] about your precious Laurel Lions that you're calling people names and, ironically, calling them immature. Tranquillo.

Say what you will, but the guy could flat out go. Any time there was service into the box, he was getting his tricorn hat on the end of it and blasting it into the back of the net.
