i went to Target and TJ Max but there's very limited options. is it possible to find something under $5.00? we got free balls a couple of years ago with a Merchant Tires coupon but it's not available anymore.
tks! |
I honestly might just ask a neighbor with slightly older kids if they had an old ball. Everyone gets rid of them at one point, but I would bet there are lots just collecting spiderwebs in garages. |
12:16's got it right. No one needs the #3 ball once they outgrow it. You will probably end up with a better ball this way, anyway (yeah, the cheap ones really don't last as long - kids lose them, so who cares). |
Goodwill or Value Village. |
Freecycle |
We got an old soccer ball at a garage sale for cheap. Just replaced it with a "Respect" soccer ball--fair trade, and made by adults. Not cheap, but then in general it's hard to get new things for cheap if you want to make sure they're made fairly. |

Try two of these. Saves all the shopping time and gas. |
Marshall's and Ross usually carries some good residue. I found them there. |
OP here - i actually went to TJ Max, Ross, and Marshalls already but no luck. it's always hit or misses with these stores. but tks anyway. |
Five below on Rockville Pike |
I second Five Below, got a number 3 about a month ago at the Alexandria location. |
Doesn't Wal-Mart have the cheapest everything?
|
was it really under $5 pre-tax? |
