Any open roster spots?

Are there any really good 2010 girls teams left with open roster spots? MontCo, not Virginia unfortunately.

There are always open spots for a good player. Just email the coach to attend a training.

In normal season yes, but right now I think the timing is bad. The season is over, summer is starting, I don’t know any teams holding practices over the summer. Also this assumes that I know the coaches to reach out to, which I don’t; hence the post.

Season is not over if they are a really good 2010 team. At least 4 of those 2010 teams are going to SD, so they are practicing. It's not hard to figure out who the coach is, may take about 15 minutes of your time. Most clubs also do Super Y in the summer, so that is another option for you.

Yeah my daughter's 2012 team is practicing over the summer. Not as many days per week as regular season but there are teams that stay active over the summer.

Agreed. May take some effort on your part, but most clubs have 23-24 coaches' contact information online. Also, many clubs are conducting supplemental tryouts now.

Ok, this is all quite general but the question was actually really specific. Is anyone able to name any clubs that are open to tryouts? Clubs that are done as far as I know: Bethesda. Potomac. PPA.
Am I missing any top clubs or top teams on large club that are still open in the MontCo area?

You're not being clear...what does "open to tryouts" mean to you?
All official tryouts are done at this point. Any tryout you do will be on an individual basis with a coach/program that you arrange yourself.

Oh ok, now I understand your question. DC Soccer club is still holding "tryouts" they have an open spot. I told the coach you would be coming to their training, ehh tryouts, tomorrow at 6:30pm field 5.

Wasn’t kidding. Friend told me they only have 15 on roster for next season. That might have changed since we spoke.

How did the trainings go the other day? please provide us with your list of clubs and coaches you contacted.
