| Any intel on the U12 girls tryouts? It's early but I'm curious whether they've started reaching out to players to join practice. It sounds like that process happened quickly last week. Thanks. |

| One of the girls on my daughter's 2012 team already got a call back to attend a team practice this week. They usually reach out to the top contenders within 2-3 days of the tryout. |

Does anyone know approximately how many slots they were trying to fill across the teams? I heard that it was only a handful. Thanks. |

| My daughter asked that exact question at the beginning of the tryouts and the coach said that they weren't allowed to disclose that information. Based on last year, 10-12 girls were invited to a team practice and the generic "rejection" notice went out on Friday afternoon (of the same week as the Monday tryouts). To All Travel Tryout Registrants: Thank you for your interest in the Arlington Soccer Travel Program. The interest in our program has reached record numbers, and our staff has enjoyed meeting all the new players. If you are born in 2005, 2006, 2007, or 2008, you should receive an email from a coach inviting you to a practice within 1 week of your registration. If not, please reach out to us with your name and birth year. All players born in 2009-2014 who attended at least one tryout session will receive an email with notification of their status according to the following schedule. •2014 (U10), 2011 (U13), 2010 (U14): We anticipate that the players in these age groups will receive email notification of their status during the week of May 15. •2013 (U11), 2012 (U12), 2009 (U15): We anticipate that the players in these age groups will receive email notification of their status during the week of May 22. |

| On the question of slots keep in mind Arlington is limited by field space in a pretty urban county. They cannot just add more teams because so many kids came to tryouts like other clubs would do. |
