Children's First?? OR Pediatric Associates??

| Anyone have any feedback on either of these pediatric practices in Silver Spring? |

| We go to Children First but in Rockville (same docs, different office staff) and LOVE them. One is nicer than the next...no complaints whatsoever. |

We're trying to decide between Children First and Discovery Pediatrics. Pediatric Associates was next on our list, but we liked the first two so much, and are having a tough enough time choosing between them, that we didn't want to throw a third office into the mix! |

| We go to Childrens First in SS. Only 2 minor complaints: 1) the offices are a little shabby, and this is even after they tried perking them up last year! and 2) b/c they also have a Rockville office and are affiliated with Shady Grove, they almost always make referrals to doctors/practices in the Shady Grove area and that is not at all convenient if you live in Silver Spring or Chevy Chase as I do. |

| Thanks for all the advice! I heard Discovery Pediatrics only has one dr. right now who is taking new patients (Dr. Cohen) .. Children's FIrst has a lactation consultant which seemed like a plus, at least in the beginning stages... |

Children's First has a lactation consultant? Are you sure? Is this new? They sure as hell didn't have one 3 and 6 years ago when I was desperate for one!! Although they did give me the name of a very nice lady who came to my house for a reasonable price. |

| Yes, she's actually a nurse practitionner and lactation consultant. She's only been there a year. |
