Thanks for the notice. My rising 7th grader’s letter was posted too. |
Those individual decisions were just made so I doubt percentages are available yet. |
A little over 1% at my kid’s APS MS last year. I’m sure it varies by school. |
that is crazy! Can you access calculus in APS if you are doing the IB diploma if you take algebra in 8th? |
Yes |
Dude there’s a handful of MS. just say the School so everyone doesn’t have to go searching in ParentVUE. |

I didn’t say which one because I thought this was driven by the school year that was just finished – and my kid just finished 5th. Sorry! I wasn’t trying to be coy or anything. If it matters, HBW. |
Algebra 1 in 8th gets you to Calculus in 12th following the standard progression. |
So do most of the 6th graders get recommended for pre-algebra in 7th? The minimum qualifying scores are not all that high. |
Does anyone have a rising 8th grader who took alegrara in 7th? Did you get a math placement letter? |
The APS School Talk email about the letters went out today; is yours not in ParentVUE? |
No, it isn’t. |
