Russia and the GOP

It is easy to disparage a dead man. He can't refute your lies.

All you need to do is use Google. Dont take my word for it. The campaign staff information, the companies they sent their money to, etc is all open source and available.

And beyond that, how naive do you have to be to think that when Manafort worked for Trump, he was a bad guy with Russia ties, but when he and his business partners were working for McCain, they were just doing the Lord's work? Please.

+1 OP. I don’t understand this aspect of the GOP, to insist that people are just making stuff up. It’s out there. There are links on this thread. None of this is secret, though I certainly was unaware (or maybe I knew it back then and just didn’t understand the importance).

OP. And this is what Roberts was totally fine giving the green light to.

Its not even just the GOP, the left also has been totally hoodwinked by the McCains. They arent who they say they are, and even the most superficial dig into their relationships and affairs will make that clear. They have done such a good job of cementing their "moderate" image that if you say anything against them, you are ipso facto a far right extremist.

Look at who Meghan McCain married. Look at who was on John McCain's payroll. Look at the actual positions John McCain took- he led the charge to keep gays from openly serving in the military. Saint McCain was totally wrapped up in Russia and made Trump take the fall.

OP. I don’t think the left has been hoodwinked so much as no one wants to sht on the dead now and he more or less behaved himself back then. It really took Trump’s openness with treasonous behavior to expose how far gone the GOP was to Russia.

But I’m not actually in politics. I just can’t believe how much Russia is in the GOP.

Let me think,
Do we try to influence other countries election?

DP. Yes. But I dont think that our vision for the world is the same as Russia's or China's, so the moral equivalency argument doesnt hold up.

Lol so you think it’s ok to force people to bend to your will as long as you think it’s all for the better? You know best what’s best for the world?

Dp- we’re better than Russia. Suck it.

He did not behave himself and he made Trump look like a amatuer. Russia was so far up McCain's ass they could see out his eyeballs. And all of this stuff is available to find. Read the criminal complaint against Manafort, and the list of companies that McCain paid. McCain let a Putin advisor pick his VP candidate. It's fine to not want to speak ill of the dead but if you cant talk about the very recent history of the GOP, you cant really understand what is happening today.

I literally started this thread to talk about the very recent history of the GOP…

Did GOP never has to answer to anything by their constituents. They could literally be seen raping, nuns and slaughtering children and their base would be like oh, but her emails and we want lower taxes. I honestly don't think it even matters. What a single Republican does. They'll still get the votes and they know it. Republicans have been party over person for decades while Democrats are person over party and will nitpick and complain about the most my new details about why we can't vote for someone or we can't look ourselves in the mirror if we do this or if we support that. Democrats are so divided in a million different directions and we are ready to burn a nominee at the stake Should they not match us on 110% of our must have items. We're conservatives are like. Is this person alive okay? They got an r by their name so we're going with it

Translate this into kitchen table.

Because until then, it's inside baseball, and unless inside baseball leads to a perp walk, no one outside the Beltway cares.

Not true. I’m well outside the beltway, both literally and metaphorically. It’s just that not enough people care and until and unless the media begins to spotlight it, more won’t.

I do think it’s interesting that the GOP is wholly owned by Russia and the corporate media doesn’t seem to care, at all. The info is itself significant as is the fact that the media doesn’t bother to cover it.
