Any insurance that cover ADHD testing?

We did not have any kind of test that incurred a charge. (8 years) We did do it at the 2nd grade teachers (FCPS) request.

We got some forms from the PED for the teachers to fill out. The ped then evaluated and made a determination. What more does testing invole? Why is it so much? I am not sure we would pay 4 k for anything like that unless their were serious issues. It seems to me if they were that serious you wouldn't need a special test. Kind of a circle.
