Hello,
I am hoping this might be the right forum for this question: My husband will be working in the Penn Quarter this summer (June-July), and I am seeking recommendations for a reputable summer program for my 3-year old daughter. Preferably within walking distance/public transit. Any leads would be welcome! Thank you, Nicole |
What hours do you need?
Where will she be in the fall? |
Our hours can be flexible, just want to find a nice camp for my daughter. Thanks! |
Don’t know of any camps for kids this young, usually 5 or 6 is minimum. Might be able to find some fun play group or something though |
If you need a full working day, I'd look at School for Friends, DCJCC, and Amazing Life Games. All are full, but may have a summer only space.
If you want something that's part day, or 9 - 3 kinda hours and feels more like camp, I'd look at Lowell School (bus right up 16th st), National Presbyterian, Sidwell, and Beauvoir all of which have great camps that start around 3. |
OP your 3yo is a preschooler not a toddler. |
This is not true. In DC most three year olds are in public school and many camps take 3-4 year olds. OP look at DPR camps. Many are likely full by now, though. |
