What programs have MLSNext or other competitive teams in the DMV?

| My U12 kid needs a new club next year. He’d like to play at a high level so we’re trying to figure out where he should try out. What are the strongest programs? We are in MoCo, might be willing to cross into DC or VA for a good fit, but would prefer not to. |

Also consider Arlington and Alexandria. Depending on where you are located in MoCo, arlington can be an easy drive. |

If you're in Montco, it's a no-brainer in my opinion: Bethesda.
If I recall correctly, the only other MLS Next clubs in the area are DC United (DC), SYC (VA), and Alexandria (VA). If you're open to ECNL instead of just MLS Next, there are a few other options. |

| Achilles 2010s (U12) are one of the best squads in the area and are in MLSNext starting at U13 (the league's youngest age group). It could be a short drive depending on where you are in MoCo. They're located, for the most part, at St. John's High School off Military Rd. in DC. |
