37th week- exhausted

Anonymous
I'm going into my 37th week and I am EXHAUSTED. All the time. At work, around noonish or so, I am constantly fighting to stay awake. It doesnt help that I have a toddler to chase after and I'm constantly waking up in the middle of the night - back pain, needing to pee, etc.. UGH! Anyone else on the same boat? Anyone have any words of wisdom, advise on how to survive these last few weeks?

I'm right there with you...36 and 4 today, and really wondering how I'm going to work until the end. I work in biglaw, and the partner I work for has been great about me backing off a little on my facetime...don't know if that's a possibility for you, but I was surprised how receptive he was when I brought it up. Toughing it out until 3, taking a 20 min nap at home, and then working the rest of the day from there makes a HUGE difference for me...at least for the last few days I've tried it.

I just keep telling myself to take it one day at a time, and that it CAN'T be that much longer...please don't let it be much longer....

I'm 37 weeks, too, and have a 3 year old and am pooped!...but fortunately I work full-time, so at least I get a break for part of the day! No advice, except that at least we don't have too much longer to go! Wishing you the best!

I'm 37 weeks and 2 days, get tired but not so much exhausted (knock on wood). But I too am so over being pregnant. DD is almost 27 months old and I work/own my own business so I'm working almost full time (I've backed off a little - thank God for wonderful employees).

Can you possibly do some telecommuting so that you can get a little repreve prior to the arrival of the baby? And I think we're all in the same boat, not a restful nights sleep in a LONNNNGGGG time - and not one in sight for a while either. But on the upside, we're almost at the end of pregnancy. YAY!
