Meal Delivery Options?

Anonymous
On recent visit to Austin, we learned about a service there called Soup Peddler. Soup Peddler delivers soups and other prepared meals to your house at very reasonable prices. Our hosts, a couple with 2 children, swear by it. I've tried Let's Dish but too much time to get there from DC and too much time spent there with 2 kids at home. Anyone know of meal delivery services in DC?

don't know where the closest Let's Dish is but I just did Dish and Dash last month -- you order ahread online like regular but you go anytime on your scheduled day and they have everything made for you! you just open the cooler and go. i was almost embarassed to do it, until another woman walked in behind me and was doing the same thing! when you don't have time... you don't have time. there is a $30 fee i think to Dish and Dash -- last month they waived it. i believe some of the Let's Dishes are offering a special on Dish and Delivery this month -- check out the website for sure== but I think it is something new they are trying.

BTW -- we have loved their February menu (that's what I dished and dashed). my husband is generally fairly picky and we haven't had a bad meal yet. even my DS who is all of 17 mos has found sevearl things he loved!
