Have you seen a difference? Noticeable? How long did it take you? |
I haven't had much luck with her videos - she looks too much like a man.

30 Day Shred. It's excellent. Google shredhead and you'll find out. |
30 day shred here too- i could see a difference rather quickly (tone- stomach muscles).. hard but since it's short you just repeat you can do it- plus it gets easier but still a good workout.. |
PP here - i think it took me week 2 to see subtle differences but i was heavier then- i just started again after a break and see it within a week- it's subtle (since none will say you're ripped- but you can see the differences) but fast imo.. it is hard on knees - i have weak knees.. |
I've been doing the shred for two weeks and can see some improvement. I am doing it 3-4 times a week, supplemented by weight lifting twice a week. |
Thank you for starting this thread...it has encouraged me to open the shred DVD and actually do it tomorrow! |
Don't forget to stretch your calves before, and especially after. |
agree with that. But don't stop at the calves—stretch everything muscle you use in the workout. |
I mean every muscle. |
Love the Shred. You'll see results in 30 days if you're religious about it...give it three months of the same dedication and the difference is astounding! |
There are Shred-heads out there that swear by it for PP fat... If anyone used it to get rid of the baby weight, when did they start after giving birth? Assuming no C-section... |
To answer PP I did the shred after having my son. I didn't drop a ton of poundage, but it made a huge difference in getting me back into my clothes. I had a c-section, and i started at 2.5 months post-partum. It made me feel SO much better about myself. I did it religiously for 30 days. Haven't done it much since (the weather has been much better and i prefer to run) but at 6 months out now i'm 5 pounds below my pre-preg weight (not overweight then). As i worked in the running the results of the shred became more obvious. |
I am surprised that so many have had good results. About a year ago I tried the shred for a month and saw no improvement at all. Maybe I needed to do it on a higher level. |
I recently started doing the 30-day shred and absolutely love it. However, my knees are killing me. I don't want to give up this routine because it's the only exercise to which I've been able to commit myself. Does anyone recommend another Jillian Michaels DVD that might be easier on the knees? Maybe the yoga one? Thanks. |
