Infants, Toddlers, & Preschoolers
DD is 9.5 months and just doesn't seem that interested in crawling. Seems like all the babies I know started much earlier, so I just wanted to get a sense of the range.
DS will be 11 months next week and still isn't crawling. I'm a bit worried but he's made a lot of progress on other gross motor skills this week (we're doing a lot of exercises with him independently until we get in to see the ped).
DS started crawling at 6.5 months -- early, though as he crawled before he could even sit himself up.
DS is a week shy of 9 months -- not crawling yet. He pulls himself up to standing from sitting, though, and cruises along furniture. I've read that crawling is not necessarily a milestone anymore.
8 months, which i felt was late, but one week later, she crawled up the stairs, and one week after that, she walked. maybe later crawlers catch up fast?
Mine never really seemed to like hands and knees crawling. He did the commando crawl (basically pulling himself with his arms) for a couple of months, then tried traditional crawling for about a month, but wouldn't do it often. He was more interested in pulling himself up and cruising. He walked at 10mo.
Started crawling at 6.5 months and now at 7 months he can pull himself up to a standing position. We are shocked at how fast this is happening.

Our daughter was delayed IMO for crawling. She would do the army crawl at 9 months and started to really crawl at around 10 months. Ped. wasn't concerned though. She was also slower then other children when it came to pulling herself up and walking too (walking didn't happen until 16 months). DD is now almost 27 months and runs like a champ and again, her doctor wasn't concerned. I on the otherhand was really bothered by the fact that she was behind other children her age. I will say that she was talking a LOT sooner then other kids her age and has a VERY extensive vocabulary for her age. I've heard a lot of people say if they walk they don't talk, and if they talk they don't walk (or something like that). Essentially DD needs to work on gross motor skills more so than other kids her age since it's not as easy for her, but in other areas I feel like she excels so it's all a wash. We're not all exceptional at everything.

My DS is 8.5 months and still can't crawl. He goes onto his belly and tries to get objects, but winds up pushing himself backwards instead of forwards and getting really frustrated - he briefly trapped himself under our coffee table doing this. I am not too worried - I figure, the desire to crawl is obviously there, and he'll eventually figure out how to make it happen. His doc says not to worry either.
Started army crawling at 5.5 months, true crawling at 6. Early bird. But he's a year and not walking yet. They say the fast crawlers may take longer to walk.
scooting on her belly at 3 months, really crawling up a storm at 5 months, cruising a little a 6 months, walking at 9 months. But unless your pediatrician says something is wrong, don't put too much stock in when these things happen. She's 3 now and runs around on the playground same as any other kid -- early mobility didn't lead to flying

Crawling just shy of 6 months, but pulling her self up to a standing position that same week. Now 6 months and cruising, but falls over ALL the time. I think her body just isn't strong enough to support this phase this early. My son was the on the same time frame, and walked at 8.5 months. But he is now 2.2 and still not really talking, which I attribute to his crazy physicality.
#2 never crawled. Never really cruised either. She would stand but not move and eventually just walked away!
