| Any feedback? We would like to take advantage of low interest rates right now but are concerned about shortages and higher costs of materials, etc. due to the pandemic. Would appreciate any insight/feedback from others who have renovated during the pandemic. TIA! |

| Ikea has cabinets Packs system and they are very suitable for such non-standard designs in the interior. I have a Malm cabinet at home, but I put toys in there. For board games I bought a Pahl table and I really like its surface that nothing slides off. Then we specially laid a warm floor and had it installed https://zelta.ca/blog/how-to-choose-laminate-flooring-for-your-home/ . But I was also planning on putting a built-in table that would fall out of the closet, so I decided to hide it in the door and not do the drawers or side doors that you have (come out of the closet). I like that the floor is not scratchy even though the furniture is not light and the mechanisms have to withstand such loads. |

What type of renovation are you talking about doing? What is your budget.
And material prices aren’t coming down any time soon. Maybe sticks and sheets but anything you actually see in a house isn’t coming down and labor isn’t coming down. |
