| Has anyone had an initial assessment done by Learning Rx in Tyson's? Of course it all sounds amazing, but sometimes these types of things end up being nothing but a sales pitch to market their programs. I do not think we would use their brain training programs as they are extremely expensive, however, I am possibly interested in just doing the assessment for my son, just to get a report that might explain his strengths and weaknesses so that we can get him the appropriate help. I'd like to know if the assessment is actually legit and will give me useful information to move forward with, but not necessarily with them-- more likely with tutors, coaches, etc., and to inform his teachers. Thank you! |

My son went through the program. It helped tremendously with his learning disability and even his anxiety. He was barely engaged in school. Now, he’s doing extremely well in school. Yes, it’s expensive but worth every penny. We went through the program about 3 years ago. We will enroll my daughter soon (special needs too). My son will go back for a refresher before he starts middle school.

| OP your instincts are so so right. Places that offer testing and services can oftentimes be a huge conflict of interest. I would just google neuropsychologists in your area, reputable ones will just have a regular psychology practice and will never offer unprompted to have you use them for therapy if you test with them. |
