Share your custom salad order (Sweetgreen/Chop't)

I've been getting the same 3 salads for my weekly takeout lunch day, and I am tired of them, but the other menu options don't appeal. Share your orders and get me out of this rut, please!

I'm on an almost keto diet to address gestational diabetes, so extra points for no grains, but still interested to hear your grain bowl hacks if that's your fave.

Chopt: Mexican Caesar, add avocado and grilled chicken. Also Kebob Cobb.
SG: Guac Greens or a Harvest Bowl. They used to make one called Beets don’t Kale My Vibe and it was fantastic. It was a collab with a signer/rapper and I wish they would add it to the menu. Mmmmm roasted beets

I don't eat salad regularly but when I did, I'd get greens with chicken, cranberries, blue cheese, walnuts and red onion.

At Sweetgreen, I love the Guacamole Greens with shrimp or chicken. I often do a double portion of the protein.

At Chopt, my custom is usually kale, apples, beets, broccoli, grilled chicken x 2, and Chimichurri Ranch.

Chopt: Palm Beach, add olives and hot peppers, white balsamic dressing

I love the chicken tinga bowl at Chopt.

I like the buffalo chicken caesar salad at Sweetgreen - I hold the breadcrumbs and sometimes add chickpeas.

Mine is similar, except I substitute olives for cucumbers, and add chicken. Bonus points if it’s chipotle chicken, they had spotted carrying it for a while but now it’s back.

It sounds as though you need a change up OP. Can't you go somewhere else to avoid boredom + burnout?

It's really hard to find anything at any of the other lunch spots nearby that works for my gestational diabetes. I've done the Cobb salad at Le Pain Quotidien too, but most places near where I work don't have anything I can eat. Unless it's like, a sandwich, but hold the bread, which is just depressing to me.

I'm vegetarian - here is mine:
Chopt: Kale and arugula, apples, corn, pickled onions, chickpeas, avocado, croutons and Tahini dressing.

Oh yay--so glad you liked it!

When they have peaches there, I'll often do those instead of apples, but sadly it won't be peach season for a while.

For a keto-friendly twist, I love getting a base of kale with grilled chicken, avocado, cucumbers, roasted sweet potatoes (just a little), and a lemon-tahini dressing of Sweetgreen Menu with price. It's filling, flavorful, and keeps me on track without feeling deprived. If you're open to grains, try adding quinoa in small amounts for extra protein without too many carbs. Hope this helps get you out of your rut.

I usually order spinach, arugula, broccoli, cabbage, apple, egg, avocado, blackened chicken, lime cilantro jalapeño dressing.
