Does anyone have experience with either of these two doctors? Did you deliver at Arlington Hospital Center -- did you find the facility and staff to be up-to-date and welcoming and responsive? I delivered my first child at GW and loved my doctor and the patient care I received from the hospital staff, however, I spent a lot of time in the waiting room for one of the 100 ob check-ups. I'm thinking second time around, all that time in the waiting room isn't so practical anymore with a full-time job and a little boy I'm eager to hang out with any chance I get.

Any insights would be appreciated. Please email emily.carlsen@gmail.com.
Hi,

I'm trying to find an internal medicine doctor that is affiliated with Arlington Hospital Center that takes Cigna. I've come across the names Kathryn Dreger and Susan Wittig a few times and wondered if anyone has any experience with either of these physicians. Or, if you know of someone else who fits the bill, female physician preferred, would you be willing to share the secret?

Specifically, I'm wondering (1) what the wait time is like to get a sick appointment, (2) how long do you typically wait to be seen by a doctor, (3) do they coordinate patient care with nurse praticioners, (4) do feel like your check-ups are thorough and appropriate follow-up care is given?

Any info regarding the above would be greatly appreciated. Please email offline to emily.carlsen@gmail.com.

Cheers.
I have a four month old who now goes to sleep at 8:30 and he wakes up twice a night. He used to sleep through the night when he was 8-12 weeks but that was sleeping from 10:30 or 11 until 7. It's killing me because I got used to sleeping again. (Moving his bedtime back only makes him cranky during the day because he's not getting enough rest.) Now that I am going back to work next week, I'm thinking it's better to just accept that I'm going to always be tired and hope it improves . . . a beautiful, healthy and happy baby is the most important thing. I have to remind myself of that during my haze Good luck. I feel you.
