Depending on where you live in western or northwestern Fairfax County, Loudoun and VSA are good options as well. Loudoun has the ECNL charter for Northern Virginia Alliance (Valor, Loudoun, Herndon, GFR) and VSA is the main club for VDA (VSA, PWSI), which is a strong ECNL club. Being at Loudoun and VSA provides an advantage in the pathway to their ECNL clubs and they'll have more resources down the pyramid.

I have 2 boys who tried out for Arlington and they are still doing callbacks (invited to practice after first tryout) and some even asking for a 2nd callback session.

If Arlington is closer for you, 100% Arlington. I live near Vienna and the BRYC base. The club has been struggling in recent years and their rebranded ECNL club (Fairfax Brave f.k.a. BRYC Elite Academy) is a mess right now. Arlington is a solid operation.
