Daughter is 9 and only played rec. She is good and shows potential, but she plays lots of sports and has never really spent a ton of dedicated effort to skill development in soccer.

She has an offer for PPL Premier Yellow. Logistically that is tough for us and the team appears to be added on as a response to a lot of interest. We are waiting to hear from some other tryouts but were curious whether we should be enthusiastic over PPA because we have heard mixed things.

Our priority is that she has a good experience and gets a chance to develop with strong coaching to see if she can progress.

Thoughts on PPA vs risking try outs at clubs with seemingly better reputations (e.g., Arlington / Alexandria)?

Just following up because our daughter had a call back to practice Friday and we haven't heard since. Just curious if others at that call back knew more or had heard one way or the other.
