It typically doesn’t take long for a seasoned coach to analyze players’ skills and abilities. It’s pretty easy even for a parent to determine a player’s abilities based on their first touch, ball control and how they kick/pass a ball.

I assume you’re talking about Maryland Rush Montgomery (MRM). Not true at all. I heard one team is looking for a coach but as a club, they are still active and playing. They are currently doing tryouts for the Fall 2022 season as usual.
