Which parking lots? Guess early morning would be better?
Anonymous wrote:your question doesn't make sense. Are you saying you would reduce your time at mt Rainier in order to spend a night in Queielete? Are you debating whether it is worth it?

Yes, debating exactly that.
Due to a last minute change plans, looks like we need to reduce our night in Mt. Rainier (Packwood) from 3 nights to 2 nights if we decide to stay at the Queielete oceanfront resort (one night only). Driving there from Olympic (Port Angeles). With kids 11 and 15. What do you recommend?
We went to tryout one time for the 06 team and were offered a spot in the EDP team, dont know whether to take or leave. Also looking at other teams in the area-Potomac and MSI. Would appreciate thoughts.
OP here: I finally figured out there are three versions here-AOPS in-person, AOPS virtual academy, and AOPS online. We want to switch from in-person to virtual academy. My son thinks in-person is better because the teacher looks over his shoulder and corrects him while he is working, and he does like it. How do they deal with this in virtual academy which is an online classroom? FWIW: the costs of both are similar.
Anonymous wrote:AOPS academy online classes is what we do. What is AOPS online classroom, PP is referring to? Why is it less expensive?

I did not know there was an option to do AOPS academy online classes, thought they were in person.

Do they ask questions over chat?
My son has been doing AOPS in-person, however, we are curious whether we should switch him to online for the next semester. Has anyone done that and what is your experience? He will be doing Prealgebra. I am keeping him at the same level as school where he will be doing IM (MCPS) in 6th grade. I know his peers are doing advanced math but I strongly feel math is more about solidifying concepts through revision. FWIW, my father was a mathematician, and this is what he always told me. Curious on what others think?

We are there for 3 nights in each of the park with one day planned for Victoria. So, will only be able to hit the key spots. Was wondering how the driving conditions are but does sound it will be fine with a sedan. Mazda 3 is coming out to be cheaper than Corolla-having driven none of these, not sure what the difference is.

We are flying into Seattle and then driving to Olympic State park and then Mt. Rainier. Coming back to Seattle and will return the car as we plan on using uber there. What kind of car do you recommend for this trip? Mazda 3? Toyota Corolla? Or bigger? We are a family of 4

We rented a car to get there.

We went several years ago-2008. Back then there used to be a train to the castle and we took a connecting bus.
This is interesting that no numbers were used. Just don't know how they would track who a player is? Are tryouts a mandatory process for clubs to conduct and they just do it cause they have to? Maybe they already know who they want from prior ID sessions?
Guess they sent the invites out to players who showed up for two tryouts. We were only able to do 1 and were supposed to do the second one today but couldnt due to the rain.
I am sure it depends on divisions but still what is the overall opinion?
Does anyone know of the new coach there?
