I have to stretch and take a minute before I get out of bed. Getting up from the floor is difficult without having something to push down on. I also have lower back tightness/pain. I’m wondering if this is due to lack of exercise or if it’s something more medical related.
I would suggest going to a physical therapist to make sure there is no structural issues or imbalances. Going to the doctor is not going to get you out of pain. They may just tell you to take pain killers which is just a bandaid.
You could also find a personal trainer that may be able to help you get stronger and take some pressure of your joints so that you do not feel in pain when you initially wake up. If you live in Montgomery county, my PT suggestions would be Aspire physical therapy, rehab 2 perfom or pure symmetry.
