Hi. WCU might be a good option but, at least for the last three years, they haven't had a 2010 boys squad. A couple of the coaches left WCU to eventually form City Sporting Club based in NE DC. From my experience, they're good coaches and have a tight knit group of kids. They've grown enough to have two teams at the 2010 age group. You might want to give them a call. I think they may be pretty close to you. I know at least some of their practices are at the Edgewood Rec Center by Catholic University.
Great list above. My son switched clubs this summer and it's such a hard choice and transition. I feel for you and I'm finding out that it's a common occurrence. Good luck with the process and I'm sure you'll find a good landing spot.

Just being somewhat aware of the landscape, I've always wondered about Laurel, Cerritos, and Total Futbol. The first two have accomplished international players as their heads and Total Futbol and Laurel do well in their respective leagues.

This is an EDP thread. Start a new one if you want to discuss MLS.

Nope. No need "to discuss" schedules. Someone on this thread asked when they were coming out. Just thought I'd be helpful.

Congrats to the local MLS Next U13s that did make the trip out for the showcase. Achilles, Alexandria, and SYC each won their group. Over three games for each club, they combined for 8 wins, 1 draw, 27 total goals for, and only 4 goals conceded. Great showing for the DMV.
My son's team is headed to CA in July for a tourney and the club handled all of the tournament registration, including the getting the block of hotel rooms. It's a stay to play tourney so the hotel was a bit predetermined. Parents were only responsible for booking the actual room and their flights. Our club handles all schedule making and tournament registration and we're grateful for it.
Achilles 2010s (U12) are one of the best squads in the area and are in MLSNext starting at U13 (the league's youngest age group). It could be a short drive depending on where you are in MoCo. They're located, for the most part, at St. John's High School off Military Rd. in DC.
I agree. Looking forward to every thread not devolving into insults.
