Anonymous wrote:Two WEEKS notice to go to the Doctor?

I'd find another job.

my current employer wants two weeks notice for scheduled paid leave, has had several others that ive worked for. So I feel its pretty common, IMO

if you have an emergency, it become unscheduled paid leave. then you just call in "hey I can't make it in today I've got an emergency Dr Visit, sorry, please use paid sick leave"

usually its going to be about two weeks out for a Dr to schedule you a non emergency appointment.

Now for a phone call to insurance, though I bet it is unlikely covered.

insurance generally only covers the building. unless you added separate riders. 6000 seems high for a steel pipe and new asphalt at the foot of the drive though

argh....
Talk o the CEO privately and explain that you current work load is pretty demanding and if they could alleviate some of that you'd be able to better apply yourself to the personal task.

What is the company policy on scheduled leave? If boss denies your scheduled leave ask for a reason why. At some point, you will have to take time off, so he can't deny you the time off forever.

License Plate Return with Automated Refund

Maryland law requires you to return your license plates to the MVA when your vehicle's insurance is cancelled, when you move out of Maryland, or when you no longer need the license plates. Under certain circumstances you may be eligible for a partial refund of your registration fee.

How should I return my license plates?

You can return license plates in any of the following ways:

Return them in person to any MVA branch office, including express offices.
Return them to any MVA authorized tag and title service.
Drop them in one of the MVA license plate return drop boxes. Currently, drop boxes with 24 hour access are located at the Baltimore City, Columbia, Gaithersburg, Glen Burnie, and Salisbury offices.
Mail them to the Glen Burnie MVA office. Sending them by certified mail with return receipt requested is recommended.

Note: When you return the license plates, always include your registration card.

WARNING: Do not cancel your insurance until you are sure that the MVA has received your license plates. Failure to do so could result in a large fine.

What should I do if one or both of my license plates have been lost or stolen?

If your license plates have been lost or stolen, report the theft to your local law enforcement agency. Be sure to obtain a copy of the police report, or at least the police report number. Then contact any MVA branch office to report the theft.

If your license plates are not recovered, you will need to obtain substitute license plates for your vehicle.

Can I get a refund of my registration fee if the license plates are not expired?

You may be eligible for a refund if your license plate expiration date is more than 12 months away. Ask the MVA customer service agent about a refund when you return the license plates. Otherwise you will need to complete the MVA form titled Application for Registration Plate Refund and include it with the license plates you are returning.

How long will it take for me to receive a refund?

Your refund is actually prepared by the Comptroller’s Office in Annapolis. You should receive the refund within 6 weeks of returning the license plates. If you never receive the refund, call one of the numbers below or contact any MVA branch office for assistance.

Fees:

There is no fee for returning license plates.
There is a fee for substitute license plates.
Note: If you receive substitute license plates to replace license plates that are lost or stolen, you are not entitled to a refund.

that being said. these old churches are just wood and bricks. probably zero sprinkler system. and even if they had long ladder trucks going to be difficult to reach som eof the higher flames.

Maybe a plane or helicopters designed for fighting forest fires would be an option, but not likely there are many sitting nearby in paris.

make sure you cycle through the valves in the yard while slowing opening the mains to bleed the air out so you don't have water hammer
merrifield usually has a good supply of nicer looking fountains/bubblers

but look into pondless fountains. yes it means you have to dig, but usually its a much smaller basin than ponds or fountains with basisns

Yeah to a point you are correct, but i was kinda hoping to find some one on the next level up... granted I wouldn't turn down any good contact info though..
Hey folks, not a TS fan but my friends daughter is. She has been in an out of hospitals her entire life. Serisouly about 25% of her last 18 years have been in some hospital room

So, the reason for my post.... She is a HUUUUUGE TS fan.

Does any one know anyone or have a method for getting past her regular handlers to try to get a Skype call or a face time from TS to just help boost friends daughters spirits?
