I ask you why? My main focus is child welfare. However it will be my internship in a few years so I'll see what it's like then see what's my next step after that.

I'm so glad I asked! This is perfect!! I'll contact them. Thanks!!

For right now when I'm in college and only have one child- I would prefer 1 bedroom. If 2 bedroom and it's cheap then yes! Otherwise one bedroom is very doable.

Really hmm.. I would like Montessori or dual language schools (full immersion) but both is a huge plus. I'm willing to go anywhere. I have a car so a specific location isn't important. Just need to be safe for my daughter. But if it's metro accessible- even nicer but not necessary.
Hi- I'm a deaf mama- first post here.

I'm looking for a place in DC. I currently live in MD. I have a 2 year old and I'm hoping to move to DC next year to try to get my then 3 year old in LAMB. I'm also going to Gallaudet University in the fall for Social Work regarding Child Welfare and most likely will work in DC with the Child and Family Services as a Social Worker. Right now I'm trying to get in the family housing on campus which would make my life easier but if not- what would be safe and affordable places on a single income live in DC? $1500/mo would be good.

I'm saving up to buy a place of my own but I'm not planning on it for a few years. I would really like a SFH because I plan to have more kids/foster.

Any advice is welcome!
