Grades? sis or schoology? no tab on sis

Anonymous
I can't see grades as a tab on sis. Several teachers of my 2 kids said they were entering them on SIS but none of us can see them.

Anyone out there know what's up?

DP. I was surprised my ES kid already had a unit test yesterday. Looks like they are moving fast this year.

HS parents please remember that Schoology is not the official gradeboook -- it will definitely show you graded work done in Schoology, though. It isn't meant to replace SIS.

+1 HS teacher too. I don’t even grade it in schoology. sis is the gradebook of record, I’m not entering grades twice

Nope, it's exactly the same pacing as the last two years.

Same here. Schoology was SUPPOSED to link into SIS so we didn’t have to grade things twice. Why am I not surprised that one of the most important, time-saving selling points for that particular platform doesn’t work?

Op here. Yes both of my kids have had graded work. Not tests but their teachers thought they’d see it in Sis.

Thanks to Pp who says look Thursday!

Let your child manage their own grades, stop being a helicopter, OP.

DP here, clearly you aren’t the parent of a neurologist-diverse student with learning disabilities. And don’t come back and say you are because you’re not…I can tell from your comment.

Grades are meant to be viewed by parents in case you didn’t know. It has nothing to do with being managed or not. Good parents stay in tune and check their kids’ grades. How do you not know this?
