Is Alec clueless, down with the charade, or convinced she's actually Spanish? Is she just another version of Elizabeth Holmes? Elizabeth Holmes was apparently able to charm most men--so much so that they looked past the weird voice, the bogus personal stories, the really iffy science, and just threw their money at her. I'm guessing her Spanish lies have literally 0% to do with his attraction to her. Alec wanted a young piece of booty who would sleep with him and pop out babies. She's just an insecure wack job who probably felt like a dimwit loser before she married rich. I mean two MD parents and you're a yoga instructor... not ideal.

I just listened to a recent episode with Maria Duenas Jacobs (who is beautiful, down to earth, and has amazing style). It was a pretty normal interview with no faux Spanish accent ... UNTIL THE END.

Hilaria brought up that Maria is raising her girls bilingual (she herself was born in Madrid to one Spanish and one Italian parent) and things went off the rails. Hilaria started to pronounce Carmen in the most over the top way and then went on to say that she and her brother only speak Spanish to each other (which would be very weird since they grew up together in Boston with English speaking parents). Maybe the whole family shares this complex?

There's a testimonial from Hilaria and Alec Baldwin on the company website. It was kind of nice to see. I was convinced that she had totally forsaken her American family in favor of this assumed Spanish identity.
